From the earliest stages of the Project, the Project Team has fostered close links with such organisations as Friends of ANCHOR (local charity who support the ANCHOR unit at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary), The University of Aberdeen Development Trust (charity supporting local medical research), CLAN Cancer Support, Maggie’s Aberdeen, UCAN, Teenage Cancer Trust and Macmillan. Members of the Project Team also participate in the local Cancer Partnership Group, an interface for the Public and Third Sector organisations working together for better outcomes for people affected by cancer.
